This antique reproduction, multi-purpose tool is a "must" for any stitcher's tool box.  Styled in the Elizabethan design, the handles are antiqued pewter with a fine wire loop for hiding threads on the backside and a hook to secure the thread in the wire.  Plant the ends of the threads into the wire loop with the hook, then pull threads back under the back stitches to hide your tails.
